| | | New controller improves dyno testing accuracy
Enders Racing Engines is one of two race engine facilities in the country using a specially-designed valve that improves the consistency and accuracy of the dynamometer. It’s a computer-controlled actuator valve that basically takes over the dynamometer by running the engine itself.
“You can test through whatever operating range you need to look at and it controls the RPMs and rate of acceleration through that range,” says Kevin. This takes out the human element in dyno testing and makes the test that much more accurate.
Enders Racing Engines is a designated test site for Depac Dyno System, the manufacturer of the dynamometer.
Every Enders’ racing engine is tested on the dynamometer for quality control and to verify performance levels.
